After I painted my cellar stairs, there is this very slippery film-what is this and what do I do

The stairs are concrete, and have a steel cellar door covering them.l

scraped and wirebrushed them and primed them. then l painted with Behr

resistant.Every coat l apply-this happens.l tried drying it w/paper towels

but it does not work.The basement floor and stairs are very dry usually.

ok, we used a similar paint and had that happen. I rushed back  
MeeMoe
to the store and found out that it was the mildew resistant stuff coming

through. We let it be for a few days and it was fine.

Add a non slip sand to the paint.Any good paint store will have  
Mr. McDimples
this product.It is just a very fine sand.

its probly the sheen of the paint, the higher the sheen more  
By
slippery they will get..try a flat paint with benjamin moore or california
